Avendale Village is the heart of Ladera Ranch with Founders Park at its center. Founders park is home to many children sporting events throughout the year, the annual 4th of July fireworks show, Oktoberfest, and concerts in the park throughout the summer months. Avendale Clubhouse features a heated pool, kiddy pool, tot lot, tennis courts and a meeting center.
Within the Village there is Ladera Ranch Elementary and Middle School and Ladera Ranch Public Library.
There are also many other pocket parks with playgrounds, barbeques, benches, and large grass areas as well as other smaller pool facilities.
Along Front Street homes are zoned for small businesses, which include a local newspaper, hair salon, daycare, and more. Trails and sidewalks connect within the village and to other villages creating a small town feel.
